Do you enjoy digital art forms such as music and illustrations? I sure do! And that is what i aim to share with you all on this here website!
My name is EarllyPillow, I'm a music tracker and digital arts enthusiast! The main purpose of this website is to archive whatever the hell i end up coming up with, which will also be helpfull for tracking my progress throughout the years! I'll also probably use it to talk about my current inspirations and aspirations too! Do bear in mind, I'm the type of person who really likes to take their time with their projects and I'm also learning music theory just now so the output of stuff that ends up here might be a little slow, sorry about that! Originating from the Ultimate Soundtracker released for the Amiga in 1987, music trackers are music sequencers that allow It's users to create music tracks through the use of samples. To compose a song, the user may pick from a variety of audio files located in their computer to use as a sample, they are able to then place the sample as a music note on the program's interface via their keyboard, those notes would be played back as "patterns" that could each be arranged and played as a full song.
Due to the rise in popularity of home computers and the acessibility of these programs many homestudios at the time saw this as a more affordable and easier way to compose and produce music.
I would highly advise you watch these videos made by ida deers and Ahoy as they do a much better job at explaining what trackers are and their overall history.
